Edge's News: Femi Adesina says Fuel Scarcity and adulteration also happened under Abacha
Femi Adesina is a Nigerian journalist who served as the Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari had the audacity to say:
The question also would be that if that system worked for six years, and that glitch didn’t happen, from that glitch, lessons can be learnt. That’s the simple conclusion I can reach. If it worked for six years and you didn’t have that glitch, case of adulterated fuel coming into the country.
“Recall that under the military, particularly under the regime of general Sani Abacha, we had cases of adulterated fuel. We had this case under General Sani Abacha,” Mr Adesina said.
“It happened (Under Abacha). Whether long or short, the point is glitches do happen and the country must learn from it,” the spokesman insisted when probed further.
Why is it that no one in the current administration ever takes responsibility for their actions? From the inception of this administration, the principal had always blame his predecessor for everything wrong with Nigeria and the governing of it.
Never ever taking responsibility for the role they played in making things worse and deepening the damage already left behind by past administrations.
Obviously the Buhari administration has never heard of the term “ The Busk stops at the president's table”.
I mean (bloody hell!) standup and take responsibility for once…. Nigerians have seen it all with their eyes wide open; Buhari’s inability to govern and rule Nigeria, all the political talk courage he mustered before his election, all turned out to be nothing more than hot air. We have seen the slow decline of living conditions and the welfare of Nigerians across board.
Such a shame, that we have to endure this continuous show of presidential sycophancy for another 2 years.
