Edge's News: Sowore reveals Buhari Orders NBC To Suspend Channels TV and arrest others over Interview
Earlier today Omoyele "Yele" Sowore is a Nigerian human rights activist, pro-democracy campaigner, former presidential candidate, and founder of an online news agency Sahara Reporters informed the public of a pending order to intimidate Channels Television station.
According to a Facebook post by Sowore following the interview which alleges Governors and persons in Buhari’s government as sponsors of Boko Haram, President Buhari has reportedly ordered Nigeria Broadcasting Commission (NBC) to suspend Channels television over the interview.
President Muhammadu Buhari reportedly ordered NBC to go after Channels Television license to be suspended by the Federal Government of Nigeria over the interview of Gov. Ortom and Retired Naval Commodore Kunle Olawunmi
Also ordered for the arrest of Chamberlain Usoh, Co-Host on Sunrise Daily, and his colleagues, anchors of the program at Channels
They are to be brought to Abuja tomorrow! Let’s be vigilant and stand with these journalists. Muhammadu Buhari will be defeated and ultimately disgraced out of power.
