Edge's News: A United State District court has apparently ordered the arrest of DCP Abba Kyari…. Why?

We @edge believe in justice and fairness for all…. while some other news outlets/blogs are busy making jest of the arrest order of a Nigerian Deputy Commissioner of Police by a United State District court, We find it absurd and laughable. Ramon Abbas a.k.a Hushpuppi has pleaded guilty to a criminal  he committed, good for him.. let him serve his time according to his crime.

To order an arrest of a serving Law enforcement agent from another country base solely the FBI finding please.. Nigeria is sovereign country we can not be handing over our citizens like lab rats because an organisation or law enforcement agency of another countries demand for it.. Hell No.. 


The question you all should be asking is: 

Can the United Stated of American hand over its citizen to be trialed in Nigeria? Since we all know the answer to that.. then I don’t see any reason why we should hand over our Deputy Commissioner of Police to any country or anyone. They (FBI) should Hand over whatever evidence and findings they have, to The Nigerian authority will conduct our own investigation, compare notes..etc, if we do arrive at the same conclusion, Mr. Kyari will be trialed in Nigeria in accordance to our laws. 


You see when we try to educate our people in government on the protection of its citizens rights this is what its boils down to Justice.."Innocent until proven guilty" no matter your findings, personal conviction, or emotional views, all that don’t matter…. what you can prove is what matters. We say obtain a search warrant before you search No.. We says obtain an arrest warrant before breaking down doors to effect any arrest you’ll say No.


All this lapses at the fault of the Senate President Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan and House of Representatives Leader Femi Gbajabiamila, put laws in place that protect everyone including your childrens’ children.. Laws are there so that citizens right are not easily trampled on and if they are the are repercussions.


Reason for arrest Order:

A United States court has issued a warrant of arrest for a Deputy Commissioner of Police in Nigeria, Abba Kyari.


According to a court document seen by The Punch, Otis Wright of the United States District Court for the Central District of California ordered the Federal Bureau of Investigation to track down Kyari and produce him in the United States for his role in a multi-million dollar fraud perpetrated by Ramon Abbas, aka Hushpuppi; and his co-conspirators.ies and let out nations officers of the law carry out the investigation to determine the extent Mr Abba Kyari involvement


The FBI said Messrs Abbas and Kyari have been friends and were both involved in a conspiracy to launder money. Mr Kyari was also indicted of receiving bribes from Mr Abbas to arrest a member of the syndicate in Nigeria.


American prosecutors first sought a court warrant to arrest Mr Kyari on February 12, 2021, according to court documents published by The Gazette. Another warrant was requested on April 29, 2021.


Judge Wright’s permission for the FBI to arrest Mr Kyari and hold him in U.S. custody was unsealed on July 26.
