Edge's News: Pandemic of the Unvaccinated...urging state and local governments to give $100

The Real threat is the pandemic of the unvaccinated.. President Joe Biden President Biden is urging state and local governments to give $100 to anyone newly vaccinated against the coronavirus, part of a push to boost immunisations as infections and hospitalisations rise with the swift spread of the delta variant of the virus.                      Cities and states have already turned to multimillion-dollar lotteries, free food and other incentives to sway the millions of Americans who remain hesitant about or outright opposed to highly effective vaccines. With the country now facing what the Biden administration calls a “pandemic of the unvaccinated” — and the highly contagious delta variant spurring some renewed restrictions — governments are under new pressure to get shots into the arms of the reluctant. A slew of announcements Thursday signaled Biden’s more aggressive approach, as he said all federal employe...

Edge's News: UK Trade Union Chief Slams 'No Jab, No Job' Policy as 'a Recipe for Disaster

Image
UK Transport Secretary Grant Shapps said it was a "good idea" for companies to insist staff are completely vaccinated, but pledged that legislation would not be passed to make it mandatory. The British government is under growing pressure to outlaw so-called "no jab, no job" policies by companies, amid reports of possible legal actions against firms' efforts to make sure staff are double-vaccinated. The government is facing criticism over encouraging the idea of mandatory vaccination for office staff after Transport Secretary Grant Shapps described companies' drive to prod staff to be double-jabbed as a "good idea". The UK professional association Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) was quick to warn that mandatory vaccination would be "an intrusion on an employee's body and may discriminate on the basis of disability, or religious or philosophical belief". In advice to its over 160,000 members, CIPD insisted...

Tesla did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Lawyers for the owners who sued said the "voltage limitation was temporary, with a 10% reduction lasting about 3 months, and a smaller 7% reduction lasting another 7 months before the corrective update was released in March 2020." A U.S. judge set a Dec. 9 hearing on the proposed settlement. The suit filed in August 2019 alleged Tesla released an over-the-air software update that reduced the maximum voltage to which batteries on some Tesla Model S vehicles could be charged. A subsequent update restored about...

Image
Edge prospective:  We @edge believe in justice and fairness for all…. while some other news outlets/blogs are busy making jest of the arrest order of a Nigerian Deputy Commissioner of Police by a United State District court, We find it absurd and laughable. Ramon Abbas a.k.a Hushpuppi has pleaded guilty to a criminal  he committed, good for him.. let him serve his time according to his crime. To order an arrest of a serving Law enforcement agent from another country base solely the FBI finding please.. Nigeria is sovereign country we can not be handing over our citizens like lab rats because an organisation or law enforcement agency of another countries demand for it.. Hell No..  The question you all should be asking is :  Can the United Stated of American hand over its citizen to be trialed in Nigeria? Since we all know the answer to that.. then I don’t see any reason why we should hand over our Deputy Commissioner of Police to any country or anyone. They (F...
