His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari Visits Lagos
President Muhammadu Buhari Visits Lagos
Our Beloved President paid us a visit today in Lagos - Nigeria the economic capital of our beautiful Nation and to our surprise of He granted an interview after almost two years. Please watch and assess the interview on your own merits.
My thoughts on the interview:
Until we all stop this Bullshit about tribe, North, South, East and West, South-South, South West..etc before Nigeria will ever find peace, we keep bickering on the same nonsense our elders and those before them have done for years, its time we take the fight to the right people, who you may ask? We need to stop voting for anyone above 60/65. these elders ruling us or trying gain political relevance is where we should start. Screw South, West, East, North, etc... for get the labels.
We are Nigerians and we deserve better. Ethnicity, tribe and religion should not be a reason or the excuse for who we decide to vote for as our Nations President. What we need is that ONE man that understand the plight of the country and understand that He (The President) is there to serve the People of Nigeria not the other way round, he understand his duty is to keep Nigerians in every part of the country safe. Addressing fundamental issues affecting the populous, agitation for reform in all areas, respect for the citizens by all security forces.
Nigeria is suppose to be democracy, yet we cannot still wilfully wear camo shirts/shorts or even joggers without been harassed or punished in public view, the worst part is we think this is ok to be treated like this; our rights have been abused for so long we don’t even know where to draw the line anymore, we've accepted insults and embarrassments as a way of life and we say its Nigeria now..
Brothers and Sisters until we all wake up and realise that we are leaving in a fools paradise, We have no say, our voice is an illusion just like our democracy.
Tribe and Ethnicity should no longer have a place in our country, our Passport only needs to say Nigerian.. We are Nigerians first and foremost and every other thing second.
I Would gladly vote Atedo Peterside for President as one of the few over 60 who is learned, speaks a like true Nigerian, a patriot, addresses everyone with respect even as he is trying educate and drive his point home. He won my heart during the Endsars movement with facts and suggestions. I will stand against him (Mr. Peterside) if he too starts to be tribal and maligned our people, we will vote him out, and vote in the next person who will move the country forward careless of tribe or ethnicity because that is their weapon of division.
For the President of a Nation to say the Endsars agitation was a move by the youth clamouring for his removal is insane and false.. this shows how ill informed he is and how is been manipulated by his staff and people he surrounds himself with, That to me is the height of disenfranchisement.
We do not need insults or blames, if we must blame anyone lets blame ourselves for giving them (So called elites) the power to rule us like animals and we stand for it, in fact we take it, we accept it because some us might find favour there.. its time to think as a collective with one mind and one goal. get Nigeria the president it deserves.
Nigerians from all walks of life are well travelled and well informed, if we can organise Endsars to the success and admiration of the world, without looting or chaos but a peaceful demonstration of one voice in agreement and we were able to shake the very foundation that think they are controlling us or think us cowards, now they know and we know that we can move any mountain collectively. All we need we already have “US” Nigerians.
This space is for constructive discussions on any topic raised for the purpose of moving us forward. Try refrain from insults or name calling because that shows you are losing the argument if you have to result to such petty tactics . You are all welcome on this platform let the discussion begin.
If you’ll like me to touch on a topic please don’t hesitate to ask.
