Image
This bully called Will Smith took it upon himself after laughing at the joke to slap another man in a disgraceful shameful manner. He did not tender any apology at the time of the incident, even though he apologised to everybody else except Chris Rock. Now with mounting pressure and the fear that his most sort after possession that has been lobbying for years and finally won at the same night he assaulted Chris Rock might be taken away, he suddenly finds the words to some how apologise for his inexcusable behaviour. And for the fact he got a standing ovation after just slapping a colleague on National television is absurd and an act of cowardice from the entire audience. Will Smith should be stripped of his academy award he is a role model and should be made example of, to let everyone out there including our children and teenagers that bullying and assault of any kind because you don’t like a joke in not ok, its wrong and its a crime.  I call upon the Academy...

Image
President Joe Biden called for regime change in Russia, saying in a speech in Poland that the country’s leader, Vladimir Putin, “cannot remain in power” after the Ukraine invasion.  Biden implored the world’s democracies to steel themselves for a protracted conflict with Putin’s government, his latest plea for allies to hold the line against an adversary he labeled a “butcher.” “We need to be clear-eyed: This battle will not be won in days and months,” Biden said in a forceful speech at Warsaw’s Royal Castle on Saturday, the conclusion of a trip to Europe to show allied unity against Moscow.  “We need to steel ourselves for the long fight ahead.”  But he also assured the Russian people that they are not the enemy of the U.S. and its allies. Earlier, Biden had an emotional visit with Ukrainian refugees that brought home the stakes of a conflict in which the U.S. has vowed its military won’t directly intervene. Yet Biden himself said the war may precipitate “World W...

He could be sentenced to 15 years in prison on three felony counts. The case has also renewed attention on the access of foreign influencers on US politics. It is illegal for foreign nationals to make political contributions, but Mr Chagoury, 75, has made several. In 2019, he was fined $1.8m (£1.4m) by the US government, and some recipients of his donations were investigated. In 2016, he illegally donated $30,000 (£22,736) in 2016 to Fortenberry, funnelling the funds to the congressman through donors at a Los Angeles event. A Paris-based industrialist, Mr Chagoury had a high profile. His name adorns a wing of the Louvre Museum, and he was once denied a US visa for alleged ties to Hezbollah militants. He was once a top advisor to Nigerian military ruler Sani Abacha, who was later found to have stolen billions ...

While still maintaining his innocence, Jussie Smollett, the former “Empire” star found guilty of staging a racist and homophobic attack, was sentenced Thursday to 150 days in county jail. Cook County Judge James Linn also sentenced Smollett to 30 months of felony probation and ordered the actor to pay restitution of $120,106 and a $25,000 fine.
