Nigerian Afrobeat superstar Davido has raised over N200M in just 2 days equivalent to about $400,000, he made the request on his social media handle calling for his friends and colleagues in the entertainment industry to donate for his upcoming birthday and they all responded with an overwhelming support for the artist.    We @edge know Davido is an extremely generous soul who loves to help and give back whenever he can. He is willing to help anyone careless of affiliation, knowing the type man he is, we already suspected that a massive surprise was coming at the end of the donation….read here . Pero Adeniyi a mother to Innocent Idibia (a.k.a 2Face/2Baba) children, has served his wife Annie Idibia a lawsuit notice, in which she demanded a retraction and N500m as damages. In the lawsuit notice dated November 10, Pero’s lawyers referenced Annie’s Instagram outburst and the audiotape (listen here @edge ) which went viral weeks ago in which she alleged that her husband, 2Baba “packed his bags and came to America to see her (Pero) and his other kids”. Pero Adeniyi’s solicitors, Okonjo Odiawa & Ebi, stated that these allegations are “blatantly false, misrepresents facts and portrayed Pero as an individual with loose morals”. Annie was further accused of engaging in  “malicious and libellous online publication” which subjected Pero and her kids to online harassment and bullying. Pero is now demanding a retraction, an apology and N500m as damages.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP Bassey Ewah, on Wednesday warned Nigerians not to give any policeman who stopped them at the checkpoint their phones without a warrant. He noted that if the police were on an investigation, they would present a warrant and then demand for the phone. Ewah disclosed this while answering questions during a programme organised by the Police Community Relation Committee in Lagos State. After a day of negotiations, the House of Representatives passed a bipartisan $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill, sending it to President Joe Biden’s desk late Friday evening.
